One of the main advantages of the system is its mobility, also regarding the fermenter, and its adaptability to particular parent substances. This makes it possible to use the micro installation at a farm focused on both plant and animal production (pigs, cattle) and food processing plants for the purpose of generating electric energy and heat.
The micro biogas plant includes a mobile process container with a modular power unit, a control room, a heating system, a pump system, a mobile fermenting tank made of GRP elements.
The modular design of the micro biogas plant facilitates optimisation in view of the client's needs and possibilities. We have accounted for, above all, the possible expansion of the installation with a digestate drying module. The modular design of the micro biogas plant guarantees its mobility which means that all of its components, including the fermenting tank elements, can be moved to a different location.
The micro biogas plant was designed in such a manner that is supports parent substances with a high percentage ratio of dry organic matter (such as silage, food industry waste, grains, manure, etc.) and liquid parent substances (slurry, liquid manure). If the client has access to a tank used for temporary storage of slurry, before it is pumped into the storage tank(s), it is possible to use the tank as a parent substances feeder to the fermenting tank. When using solid parent substances, such as manure, corn silage, post-processing remains of fruit and vegetables, an additional charging system of the volume of approx. 8 m3 is required in a micro biogas plant. Parent substance dosage in a micro biogas plant takes place twice in 24 hours. Optionally, a given process may be fully automated.
The fermenting tank of the diameter of approx. 10 m and the height of approx. 5 m, included in the micro biogas plant, is thermally insulated and heated. Its volume amounts to at least approx. 390 m3. Optionally, the tank volumes may be adapted to a client's needs.
Pure biogas generated in the fermenting tank will be converted in the cogenerator into electric energy and heat. The resultant electric energy and heat may be used for the farm's own needs.
The micro biogas plant will be offered with an additional/optional service agreement. The offered services are provided by trained specialists.
